WELCOME
This is the website for the Cape Breton Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - we speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.

The SPCA provides the following services:

o    Responds to calls of animal
neglect, abuse and cruelty.

o    Where warranted, lays charges
under the Criminal Code and the
NS SPCA Act.

o    Ensures abused and neglected animals receive the veterinarian
care they require.

o    Provide shelter and care for animals.

o    Educates the public on animal
welfare issues.

o    Promotes the prevention of cruelty
to animals in cooperation with
other branches
.

 We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort,
