Cat Program

Introducing the Cape Breton SPCA and CBRM's
Cat Spay/Neuter Program

The Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) and the Cape Breton SPCA have found a partial solution to the region’s cat overpopulation woes in the form of a feline sterilization program.

The program will spay or neuter approximately three hundred cats per year.

The program is designed to assist low income residents to defray the
costs of the spay/neuter procedure, with only a small co-payment
(based on income) made by the resident.
